• Enthusiastically and professionally assist clients in booking service appointments
  relating to the heating, or plumbing system in their home.
• Book and schedule service appointments while knowledgeably speaking to
  clients regarding services offered.
• Offer suitable solutions when clients raise scheduling or price objections.

• Clean Residential and Light Commercial Drain Lines.
• Run Camera to evaluate Drain Line condition.
• Refer drain calls to a Sewer Specialist if appropriate.
• Clean and prep drain lines for drain lining crew
• Jet Drain lines when needed

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial utility line repairs/replacements (water/sewer), prep lines for pipe lining crews

• Perform drain cleaning for branch and/or sewer lines when needed
• Perform repairs to water lines.
• Repair and install underground gas utilities
• Work with city inspectors for inspections on utility line repairs.

Requirements:

• Must have a solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings

• Must have a clean driving record

• Must have a clean background

• Must have the ability to handle plumbing tools, mini excavators, skid steers, and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
• Must have the ability to haul light-duty trailers and equipment to and from job sites.

• Must have good communication, interpersonal skills, and patience

• Must be in good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces

Job Description:

As the Plumbing Service Manager at Big Cat Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our plumbing service operations. Your primary duties will include:

• Leading and managing a team of plumbing technicians, ensuring they provide exceptional service to our customers.
• Work with the dispatch department to make sure the right technician goes to the right job.
• Monitoring and assessing job performance, providing coaching and training as needed.
• Host weekly training & one on one meetings with Service Technicians
• Collaborating with the sales team to provide accurate job estimates and quotes.
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues to ensure client satisfaction.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics.
• Participating in the recruitment and hiring of new plumbing technicians.
• Bring more energy than you take, because you will set the tone every day for the entire department.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in residential plumbing service, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of supervising teams.
• Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and installation methods.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Valid Journeyman plumbing license OR ability to obtain.
• Be proficient using computer and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
