I don’t usually write reviews, but these guys absolutely earned one.
What started as a leaking kitchen sink drain turned into one of those, “Well… that’s a much bigger problem than I expected” situations. The pipe runs down through my son’s room and underneath our concrete slab. Being convinced I could fix it myself (because YouTube has never lied to me before), I started tearing into it. It didn’t take long to realize the cast-iron pipe was in far worse shape than I imagined.
That’s when I called Big Cat Plumbing, Heating & Cooling.
From the moment they arrived, I knew I was in good hands. Sam, the lead plumber, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, professional, honest, and took the time to explain everything without making me feel foolish for trying it myself. After inspecting everything, they found that it wasn’t just the kitchen drain—the cast-iron piping underneath much of the house had deteriorated and needed attention.
This was a major job, but Sam and his crew handled it with incredible skill and professionalism. They went above and beyond, communicated every step of the process, treated our home with respect, and made a stressful situation so much easier than it could have been.
If you’re thinking about tackling a plumbing project yourself, here’s my advice: know your limits. Mine apparently comes right after spending an entire day running a jackhammer through concrete, only to discover I’d barely scratched the surface of the actual problem. My back filed for retirement, my arms stopped working, and that’s when I called Big Cat. Looking back, I probably should’ve just started there.
Huge thanks to Sam and the entire team. Hopefully I won’t need a plumber again anytime soon—but if I do, I know exactly who I’m calling.

Josh and Brian came out to install our new water heater. Not only were they professional, but they were also fast and efficient. I appreciated their hard work and great price!! They are my go-to for future plumbing issues.
Didn't catch the guys name but excellent service very knowledgeable and helpful by showing me some tips and tricks and cleaning techniques for future problems that I can do on my own and the company has great contract options to never have worry about it thanks man!!!! He is a fisherman and also gave me a few fishing tips and spots thanks again for all the knowledge and getting my a.c going again in this heat !!!!
